Scottish bacteriologist (1881–1955) who shared the 1945 Nobel Prize in Medicine for his role in the discovery and isolation of penicillin. Vintage ink signature, “Alexander Fleming,” on an off-white 3 x 1.75 card. In very good condition, with some toning and dampstaining affecting portion of signature.
